AUX Switches

Anyone know how to install these? I noticed there are two wire harnesses connected to blanks under the speedo/tach shroud. Are these live? can I just plug the switch into those and then plug the accessory connector into the aux acc port behind the side cover, or am I supposed to connect this to the battery terminal and then run my own wires? The instructions SUCK!!

Thanks!

The link you posted is no good and what bike are you working with? Depending on the bike, which side, left or right and what do you want the switch to do?

Sorry. 2018 Road Glide Special. It's for an aftermarket oil cooler fan. Bought the kit. It's the 71400129.

This should work...

Which fan did you get?The Harley fan plugs right in by the fan and then you get it flashed.everything is automatic and works great. Standard on all police bikes.
