I was headed out to the Laconia Rally to camp with the sidecar crew at NHIS last week-end but at the last minute my Dad ,who had his second stroke this year a couple weeks ago, took a turn for the worst. We spent the week-end going back and forth to the nursing home instead.

Dad passed Tuesday afternoon at 1. He was 93 and a WWII vet.

My condolences. I lost my father 2 years ago. Also a WWII vet. We lose so many of them these days. It won't be long before they are all gone.

I feel your pain. My dad died a month ago after suffering a stroke just before Christmas. The stroke was severe and he was never going to get better, so I'm thinking that he's in a happier place now. I'm sure your dad is too. BTW; my dad was a WWII vet too.
