You can get the regular Redline 20-50 here for $131.00 shipped. $30 or so cheaper per case because it doesn't say V-Twin. When I go through the V-Twin Primary and Tranny, if ever because I bought a case. I'm switching to the non V-Twin counterparts. I have a case of the 20-50 on the way. People have used the regular Redline for years with no problems.

Racing oil designed for a water cooled race engine won't have the same detergents or additives that an oil engineered for an air cooled motorcycle engine would...... There's a reason they produce seperate products, they are not the same.....

my bud Ding from Ding's Custom Cycle is traveling around the country
this summer installing redline $100 engine and $150 3 holes.

that's having a professional bike builder do it.

They are also installing Michelin, Avon, Metzler and Dunlop.

So if you want Redline, just go to one of their shows and
see Holly, she's the shop manager.

he didn't say anything about racing oil. redline makes 'automotive' oil, and 'vtwin' oil. in fact, the race oil doesn't come in 20w50.....

redline 20w50 'automotive' oil-12 qts $131.40
redline 20w50 'vtwin' oil - 12 qts $ 167.40

and using automotive oil is fine in our bikes, we do not have a shared sump so you dont have to worry about additional friction modifiers which cause the clutch to slip.

Exactly, If you run the 20-50 in all holes, which you shouldn't IMO. The "friction modifiers" are good for the clutch. Motor oil is good for the motor. People have been using it long before the V-Twin with no problems.
