You will notice a significant difference. You will gain 8-10% more power (HP and torque)and your bike will run cooler. Normally the first thing I do to a bike. They come from the manufacturer running pretty lean for emission reasons.
A stage 1 consists of intake and exhaust upgrades plus some type of fuelr / tuner.
How much it costs / how well it works all depends on what parts you use. Top of the line mods will net you more than 10% increases in HP and torque but will cost you around $2K.
You can do a stage 1 for under $1k, but don't expect 10% plus. Also the cheaper mods will not be as flexible later if you decide want to go stage 2 or 3...
I already have Rush Slip ons. Will the bike run cooler just from the Air Cleaner part of the Stage 1 kit? Or will I have to add the tuner as well? True duals will be in my future, but I am trying to pay for it as I go along. I cannot do everything at once.
The air cleaner will lean it out even more than stock and you will run hotter. Your bike, from the factory, runs lean(and hotter) than it should. I went with buying my parts as I could afford them, then installed everything at once on a Sat morning. If I were to install it as I got it, I'd get the slipons, then tuner, then air cleaner, then true duals. JMO

I do know of them, I will be giving them a call and see what I need to do. I still have the cats and would love to get rid of them nut cookers for sure
The stage1 set up with a good tuner will definitely wake the bike up. Like stated previously, it can run upwards of $2k with a good tuner that youll be able to use later if you decide to go with stage2 or 3. Either way you go it will be worth the stage1
