I am needing recommendations for adjustable foot pegs to be added to my Harley passenger floor boards. Taking first road trip with the wife and want to make it as comfortable as possible.
I replied to your PM and got an error message that your inbox is too full. FWIW, I have the same Kuryakins as everybody else. They clamp onto the floorboard arms so you don't lose the boards.
+1 on the Transformer ll. Not a lot of choice out there for adjustable passenger peg/boards, and even fewer that are adjustable or deployable while riding. I'd buy passenger "Flip Board" if they ever became available!
I installed a set of the transformer II floorboards for the wife this weekend. In my opinion they SUCK! Here is a list of my complaints -
1. They come from the factory too loose. I had to tear them completely apart and tighten them up or they flopped from the flipped up position to down with the slightest bump. This was a HUGE pain in the butt.
2. The adjustable peg is also not tight enough. In the flipped up position, with the peg folded back, the peg "travels" towards the bike due to vibration. This, in my opinion, is very sloppy and on my 07 the rubber portion actually gets on the pipe on the left side of the bike. Completely unacceptable and I am sending them back today.
