So I am getting the Yaffee house party audio system and need some opinions. What I am debating is what color to paint the grills in the saddle bag lids. Do I paint them Sedona Orange to match or paint the grills black to give it some contrast? Opinions please
Personally i would paint them sedona orange to kinda make them blend in but if you have or are blacking other stuff out then i would paint them black to contrast the bike. A blacked out sedona orange bike looks badass.
Saw a killer Sedona Orange FLTRX yesterday that was all decked out in chrome. It had the HD speaker lids with the black grills. Added some contrast to a really sharp ride. Didn't look out of place at all. One thing to note, he had a color matched inner fairing w/black grill covers over the speakers. I think that is what tied it together most. Had one been color matched and the other ones in black, it would have looked off to me.
Well I have a lot of black parts already on the bike and the inner fairing is painted gloss black. Either way will look good, i am just wondering which way will look the best. I think that we are going to go with black cause if it don't look as good as I think it is going to, my painter can shoot the grills orange.
