Last night we lost a great fellow rider, HD dealer owner & all around great kind guy, Ralph was 52, he was riding his CVO Road Glide near Gatlenberg TN, a storm came up, they pulled to the side of the rode to wait it out, and a tree fell & killed him, good people do die young, he will be missed, we here are just in shock..............

Holy crap what a freak accident. You pull over to be safe and a freaking tree falls on you? Damn, didn't know him but my heart goes out to his family and friends.

Ralph always treated me well. He was the type of owner that would come up and ask how things were going. Few months back was getting tw555 cams installed and Ralph brought out his Skunkworks that he was making some changes to. Guess that is how I'll remember him. Like others here, condolences to the Frazier family (mama and Bill) and the excellent staff at Fraziers. For those that may wish to call the shop to offer theirs, the number is 770-945-6011. I'm sure the folks will appreciate the support in this time of great pain.

When it's your time, it's your time I guess. It's always so hard to understand why these totally freak accidents occur. Condolences to the family, friends, and employees.

We had one of those freak accidents get a lot of press coverage here in Maine last week. A 5 year old boy was properly strapped in a child's seat in the back seat of a car being driven by his 52 year old grand mother in the town of Rockland. The kid had a jump rope wrapped around his wrist and somehow the other end is dangling out the window. It gets caught on a passing car in the right lane and rips the kid's hand clear off at the wrist! Makes you wonder just how/why this shit happens.

I was there

I assure you there was no suffering and was instant. I stayed with him til the rescuers arrived approx. 3-4 hours. It was a really bad storm and there was about 20 trees or more that fell a crossed the road in about a 1/4 mile stretch. He took off during the hardest part to try and ride out and came to the 1st downed tree. They stopped and waited and thats when the tree came down. It wasn't a branch it was a tree. I can't get it out of my mind and it hurts me I didn't stop him when they were getting on the bike to leave. My wife asked me to ask them to get in the car. But I had younger kids in the back an I didn't know them. Me listening to my wife may have prevented it. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry!

RIP sir.....My gosh I was on the road in Seviervill in my cage with my wife , mom and dad .The storm came out of nowhere, the temperature dropped 25 degrees in less than 20 minutes. Debris was blowing and trees were crashing down around us,power was going out at the lights at the intersections, businesses were losing power as we were riding by, the roof of a hardware store blew off just a few seconds after we passed thru.We saw motorcycles traveling down the road and wondered where they could take shelter. This happened so fast no one had time to take cover .We were in a car and were very concerned. This was fast hard hitting storm, that was over as fast as it came in,but left behind a destructive path of death and destruction.
