Took me awhile to save the $$ for all the parts, but I think I am done... for now. With the exception of the front wheel and rear fender, all the rest is second hand (used - ebay/craigslist/local). It took a lot of patience. I got a bunch of info/guidance from here. Thanks.

Bad ass looking' scooter, and I love that you did it "on the cheap", though we all realize it definitely wasn't cheap! You've got about 8 bits of shiny on there, are those next winter's project? What state do you live in, could they possibly make the inspection sticker any larger?! Makes me glad Maine's is only a small sticker you put on your license plate.

Thanks! Definitely got a lot of good deals through eBay & craigslist. Not ashamed to say that I was on a tight budget. Yeah, the other chrome pieces will be done later. I was just hyped about getting all the "big" stuff done.
No, that is my military base sticker (camp Pendleton, California) - retired Marine Corps.

Great Job!

This is a good example of what people can do with a little patience, and dedication. I bought many items from my last bike through Ebay/Craigslist. There are opportunities out there if you are willing to wait.

Anyway, Good looking bike and good luck with saying you are finished.....

Again, thanks for all the kind words.

Yeah, due to my lack of funds I couldn't afford the labor costs so I was forced to learn and do all the assembly/disassembly myself. Did a lot of "searching" through forums and YouTube.

Bought the bike and have been a member since 2010 and I just finished it last month. Needless to say, it's been a long time comin'. Gonna really enjoy it now.

Awesome, Awesome. What type of air cleaner is that P.M.? I blacked out everything on my 2005 Electra Glide. Have you thought about powder coating the push rod covers and their bases? It looks great and is fairly cheap.
