Can anyone give me some insight on the extended fenders they are using currently. Do most people use the fender overlay or do they use a new fender? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
You know, I was just looking on milwaukeebagger.com on getting some ideas of stretching my bags and of course I feel the rear fender needs to be replaced or at least have the rear fascia that makes it's blend in nicer, well, what do you know they offer a bolt on rear fascia that will work with 4" stretched bags and looks pretty good. my first option was the CVO rear Fascia, but for this one being $350.00 and not having to deal with the holes in the stock fender b/c of changing out lights, I though it was a deal. check it out.
Klockworks offers metal fenders for the old style frames. Two different lengths and two different widths. The wider fender allows you to put a wider wheel and tire on the 08 and earlier frame. I'm running a 170/60 X 17 on the rear of my 2005.
