Hello, JohnZ here from Chi-town. This past May I purchased my pre-owned 2007 Road Glide from a NON-harley motorcycle dealership. It had 18K miles at time of purchase. I believe at time of purchase, I was made aware of an aftermarket extended warranty as an option to purchase but due to trying to keep my monthly payment as low as possible, I opted not to get the warranty. Since I've had the RG, knock-on-wood, the bike runs beautifully with NO issues whatsover. However 2 Harley friends of mine have run into mechanical issues with their Harley's that required the use of their extended warranty coverage. It's been weighin heavy on my mind that heaven forbid, my RG runs into an unexpected mechanical issue and I won't be able to cover the cost of parts n labor outa my pocket. My question I'd like some feedback on is there any possibility of purchasing an aftermarket extended warranty for my RG that is obviously out of its' factory warranty parameters (time & mileage). Just tryin to avoid a potentially bad situation fer myself. Thanks for the input!!!
