Just got the call a few minutes ago. Shop says that my RGU is ready to be picked up.

It's been a month since I dumped it on the way back from the Redwood Run. Next 2 hours are going to go by REALLY slow.

Sucks that you dumped it but terrific that you weren't hurt and that they have it fixed so you won't miss too much riding time. Ride safe.

Couple of shots from an evening ride after picking it up. I went for about 70 miles, just to clear my head and get a couple of photos. I have more, but not all of them were worth posting. Since they had to change the crashbars and the handlebars anyway, I had them put on Black instead of chrome. Couldn't justify replacing the front end with black, it wasn't damaged, but it is on the agenda.

This was at the Old Bike Bridge over the American River in Fair Oaks, CA.

This was at Skunk Hollow where Salmon Falls Rd crosses the South Fork of the American River, just east of Folsom, CA.

Was only down 1 month and 2 days. Seemed like forever, even though I was riding one of the other bikes. It's just not the same.:(

Glad to hear you're getting the Ultra back. At least you were ready to ride it and had backups to ride while the RGU was in shop. If you weren't across the country, I'd ask how much for your Vulcan. I miss having a 2nd bike.

Not sure what they charge, but I do know that bikes get shipped around the country everyday. :D
