Having just arrived home from our 4,684 mile Nova Scotia trip, I thought I'd give a wear report on the Dunnie D407 rear on my 2011 RGC. I departed with exactly 6/32nds left on the tire (its my understanding they come from the factory with 10/32nds). The tire had 10,700 miles on it when we headed out.

Upon arrival home, I measured the tire at just a 'tick' under 4/32nds (tire now has 15,400). About 90% of my riding is long-distance and only rarely do I straddle the bike for a short local or urban ride.

This comes out to roughly 1/32nd of wear for every 2,000+ miles. I figure that I should be able to run this tire to about 18K, but I'll likely replace it before that due to heading out on another trip.

BTW...the tire is wearing very evenly too, and still feels good under the bike..:)
