So I got the new Bike home the other day and noticed some small Black Spots almost like pitting or road tar on the left side pipe. It’s not road grim because I have only driven the bike home so far. Has anyone seen this on brand new pipes before?? Thanks for the help

Yep..... Got it on mine when it was new. I believe it was little pieces of plastic from the belt as it was breaking in. It should take a few rides to get worn in and stop. I monitored my belt for a month to ensure there was no abnormal wear and even took it to the dealer to confirm that everything was ok.

Get some bug and tar remover and use it each ride after the exhaust has cooled down to remove those black spots.

If bug and tar remover won't get the spots off try EZ Off oven cleaner. I have used it many times with no issues. Spray on and wipe / wash off in about 30 seconds. Just be very, very careful not to get any on the paint.
