WTF,
I ordered 14" OEM in Black, 12 weeks ago from Phat Performance Parts and they placed the order with Yaffee immediately.

Its now 12 weeks, my rep calls Yaffee every week look for my order (and others) and still nothing.

You would think that if he is selling that many bars at 400.00 a pop he would figure out a way to get them out the door in 30 days! I understand it has been like this for a while with Yaffee, but really...... get you shit together!

I'm done with Yaffee after this order, I'm going elsewhere for the rest of my build.

Had to vent.....

I wonder if it's a Phat performance problem. I had the same issue with Cycle Smiths Banana Boards I ordered from them. Ordered 12-15, but didn't receive till April. I finally got fed up and called the manufacturer directly and I received mine a week later.

Buddy of mine here in Canada was dealing directly with them last spring for a set of monkey bars, finally had to cancel the order after 2.5 months, couldn't wait any longer on the bars for the build. Heard numerous complaints over the last year about similar issues with bars?

I was gonna go with the yaffe bars after a lot of debating between those and heritage bars. Finally decided to order the heritage bars and it turned out dealer had 'em in stock. I guess that's one advantage to my decision!!

The original posters experience with Yaffee is much too common on this board then what your talking about. Do a search on here and you'll find 100x's to 1 that a wait for Yaffee products is a minimum of 2 weeks( if your lucky) rather than next day.

There could be a lot of different things holding it up. Your retailer probably deals with a wholesaler (Drag, Custom Chrome, etc) who buys from Yaffe. And if Yaffe has somebody else actually make the bars (in China or wherever, it doesn't matter), that adds another link in the supply chain. And nobody in that chain wants to have money tied up in parts sitting in a warehouse, so orders are placed as necessary.

And to compound the problem, back when I worked for a wholesaler (one I named above), I saw local shops sit on customer orders for weeks, waiting until they built up enough items to qualify for free shipping or some other incentive from their supplier. (A "buy $2500 worth of stuff this month and get a free hat" type thing) Meanwhile, their customers just sat and waited.

I might be the biggest Yaffee hater on here. I don't like the outrageous prices or the wait time or the customer service. Too me he thinks hes the only one making parts for RG's and he acts that way. I liked his bars as well until I was told 2 years ago that it was a 4 month wait. So I went with WO outlaws got great customer service, a great product, oh and got em in 2 days. I wouldn't put free Yaffee shit on my bike. Ok rant over.

Sorry for your delay man, I clearly have felt your pain. Just cancel the order and get some other bars. Theres companys out there that will bend them to your specs, cost about the same and you'll have less wait time.

Ordered from Paul directly and had them powder coated satin black (with his mirrors in satin black as well), which is a specialty order for both...from time of order to delivery to Canada was approx. 8 weeks total.

I think if you are going through a ``3rd party``, be prepared to get caught up in their ordering processes and excuses.

I have ordered several things from Paul for my Road Glide and never had a problem, but I ordered directly from him.

Just relaying my own personal experience.
