So I notice my $30 deflectors not locked into place on tank mounts so I investigate. Found tab broken where it mounts at top of frame. Warrantied!!! Then I get the call that I missed 3 spots, one on fender and one on each down tube covers. When the tab broke it must have slapped forward. Thank the Lord for my awesome service team at Wild West HD here in Lubbock.
Might want to take a closer look at it. My wife low sided her Fatboy a few years ago and the small metal area between the frames where the crash bar bolts to was slightly torqued, It was very slightly. they replaced the entire frame. It really jacked up the cost of repairs. They had to order a new frame from HD with matching VIN and then cut the old frame steering column off to send back to HD to prove they are not re-using the frame.
The bike didn't have a single scratch on any painted surface, the front and rear crash bar did there job and the bike slid down the road on them about 30 yards.
