"07 RG louder after engine work

I bought a used "07 RG, 103" BB kit, stock Cam, V & H true duals snf Fuel Pak, that had too much engine shake. After having several shops look at it the consensus was the crank runout was too much (front mount was replace and others just re-torqued). So I chose a shop to open it and take a look. He tells me the crank was 6 thousands out at one end, I believe HD says under 12 is within spec, he says he doesn't like anymore than 3. So I opt for a new S & S crank, TW6-6 cams, new cam chain tensioner and timken bearings, also added a T-MAX autotune ($4K for all). So I get it back and test ride, still shakes more than I think it should though not as bad and no more backfiring at all. Only put about 75mi since the work but I feel no more power and it is a lot louder than before. I used to beable to hear the radio up to about 65mph now only to about 50mph. Would this increase in sound be becuase the T-MAX is pushing more air/fuel though and will it "settle down" after a few more rides? We also have an '09 FXD (GF's bike) with V&H exhaust, her's hardly shakes and use to be louder than my RG now mine is much louder than hers.

Define "louder". Is the exhaust louder, or louder mechanical noise from the engine?? Camshaft timing will have some effect on the exhaust note. Also, camshafts with more aggressive ramps will make more mechanical valvetrain noise, Woods cams in particular are well known for making mechanical noise.
One possibility is that with the new cams, which now actually have overlap between the intake and exhaust, there will be more sound out of the air filter. I once replaced the "ham-can" stock air filter cover(Ness Big Sucker base plate) with a simple billet aluminum cover that left the filter element out in the open. Didn't ride it like that for long that way, couldn't stand the noise from the intake, it was almost louder than the exhaust.

Sorry about not saying where the sound is coming from. It is definetly from the exhaust, the engine sounds great no noises there.

The shake is only at idle, as soon as I give it gas it smooths right out, but stopping at a light it looks like the engine is gonna walk away on it's own.

Kinda hard to tell the idle rpm's on the stock guage, I would say 900-1000rpms. If I get it up to about 1200-1300 it smooths out. The Thundermax with autotune is new also, maybe it will settle down after a few rides?!?!?!
