Outstanding New Orleans Harley Dealership

After purchasing and outfitting my 2012 RGC, the stator and regulator went kaput, so my Moore, Oklahoma dealership immediately replaced them. Hats off to Fort Thunder HD. Two weeks later, my crew and I rode to New Orleans, and when we entered the city limits on I-10, my check engine light came one, the voltmeter dropped to nearly nothing, and my battery light came on. As we all know by now -- especally as there is a recall on these parts -- these are the symptoms of a regulator/stator failure. I called Cajun Harley Davidson, and they sent a truck to pick up my bike and haul it to their shop in Metarie. Sure enough, stator/regulator was kaput! They said there was a two-week wait. However, when I explained that I was in transit from Oklahoma to Savannah, they immediately put it on the lift and "found" a stator and regulator and turned the job around in just two days.

I can't say enough good things about Cajun Harley Davidson. If you're in the area and need good service and fine folks, give them a shout.

Cajun Harley Davidson shows to be on a frontage road right off I-10 in Scott, LA. The one we were at was on Airline Dr and is apparently called New Orleans Harley Davidson. It shows to be in Metarie though so I'm a little confused. the street view confirms we were at the the Airline Dr location. Cajun Harley is a much bigger, newer looking store. If he went to New Orleans H-D and got good service, good for him. The service dept ( well a certain service writer and the service manager) were just asses as far as I'm concerned. They did absolutely nothing for me except to transfer me to the parts dept. on the phone. The rest they left up to me. Some sales people felt sorry for us and couldn't believe they were treating us that way and one nice mechanic gave us some well timed advice. Other than that, I'd be hard pressed to have much good to say about New Orleans Harley-Davidson @ 6015 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70003 Service# 888-460-0975. When I was beside the road and calling them though, I reached them at 504-736-9600 :D

A few years ago I went to Cape Cod. On the return trip spent the night near Cleveland.

Got up early. Took off. Ran the gauges and saw 12.5 V and falling. Limped into Signature HD in Perrysville.

In about 9:30. Out about 2:30. Just over $800 (ridiculous) as I remember but at least I got out of Dodge.

Going to the top of the list when you're taveling is the way it used to be and the way it should be. Then again, I'm so old I remember when dealers had a shower somewhere in the back for a weary traverler!

Used to live in New Orleans. Actually bought 2 bikes from the dealer in New Orleans. They have since changed hands.

The original poster has got his dealers confused. As HogWild said, Cajun HD is over by Lafayette, LA in Scott. Harley dealer is on Airline Hwy in Metairie which is the New Orleans area. Mailing address might be New Orleans.

The service guys in Moore Oklahoma are top notch!!!
I have never had to wait for warranty repairs,
I put a lowering kit on my bike and while in the city I blew a air line and messed up my wireing they fixed it put lower shocks on it and the tech, came out and said keep yer trap shut I gave you lower shocks and put the kit in your bags,so its a no charge fix,
Now the parts and sales guys thats another story.....
