Lol, i've been given a two week rest period from my chemo, was going to go to SWII but on an oil change they found metal on my main crank drain plug.
Found out today that they tore down the engine and found:
Cam plate scarred
Cam scarred on the lobes
Oil pump scarred and pressure reading off
So its gonna be about 2-3 weeks before I get it back. Good thing is I have the extended warrenty and it will only cost me $50 bucks.
Good thing I had it serviced before I left, could have been a major pain if the oil pump failed on the road.
Maybe i'll rent somethig to ride while i'm waiting for the return of my bike.....

Could have swore I posted an answer to this post but didn't see it after I came back.

I bought the bike used so I don't know if cam or pump are stock. I'm thinking maybe some sand got into the oil if the cap was left off during the servicing last october? This is florida, sand works its way into everything.

Sorry to hear about your engine issues. I'm sure that with 2 weeks off the tube you were ready to get out and get your head in the wind. You owe it to yourself to rent a bike, any bike, and go for a good long ride. I wish you the besy of luck with your motor and more importantly, with your treatment.

Thank you, your right, but i'm back on as of today. Although i'm on home needle treatment 3x a week, I could still take the meds with me if I could keep them cool and if they didn't make me so sick and tired. I'm going to look for a bag cooler, or just carry a six pack cooler to take with me.
I have decided to buy a trike kit to put on the bike so the weakness won't be an issue, but gotta wait till it comes back home.
