this is my buddys bike he has owned for close to 30 years! no idea of milage speedo hasnt worked since who knows when! a few modes thru out time! yup, he drove to the tail with us from maine and back! 2760 miles at 70-90 most the way! we had to give him a few push starts now and then but over all when she was running she sounded strong. none of us thought he would of made it out of maine! it vibrated so much he lost his license plate somewhere in va on the way down! should of seen him in the rain, 1 hand over his eyes, the other on the throttle! bright yellow rain coat and a half shell helmet. road trip entertainment at its best!

You need to find a Tour Glide Fairing to give back the personality.
It also looks like the side covers are missing. They are the same from 1979 to 1992.
So it should be easy to find. Is the enclosed chain still there?

enclosed chain is still there. not sure if he wants to restore! i think he just wants to ride it! it would need lots of work and money! neither of which i think he has any interest in.
