I did a 240 mile ride with the wife last Thursday. We seen 4 other road glides on the days ride. 3 of the 4 were on a two laner heading in the other direction. Every time one went by, I thought to myself.. I wonder if their on the forum?
Now, I've had this thought ever since the "spotted" thread came about and the ride on Thursday got me thinking about again, so I'll pose this Question....
Do we have or can we get a sticker made that we can place inside the windshield (so the design would show thru the windshield) on the left side that would help others identify the person as a member of the forum? Something small, tasteful but clearly visible to a bike going the other way on the road.
Just a thought, then maybe we could work on the secret wave, handshake and decoder ring! LOL
I've thought the same thing! Did 1000 miles this weekend and saw several sharks. Asked one RG owner at a stop if he was a forum member and he pointed to his HOG patch and said yes. I left it alone... I'd put a sticker on mine...but it'd have to be on the outside of my blacked out windshield! I think a little round "secret society" sticker would look good!
Tracy,
I see the only stickers available are the larger white rectangular ones, not really thinking that would look too good on the windshield of the bike. Great on the truck bumper but...... I do agree with Goodman above, why isn't the SSOTS design available in a 2.5 to 3" sticker? If they were and priced right I'd keep a bunch on hand and leave them on the seats of bikes I see in parking lots!
On July 4th I was on a PGR mission out of Austin. The soldier's remains came home to the Austin airport but he was being buried in College Station, which is South East Texas PGR's region. We had only 20 hours notice. Austin PGR handled the airport recovery and handed off the mission to SE Tx at the halfway point in Dime Box, Texas.
I was the Austin Ride Captain. When we got to the hand off point I went looking on foot for the SE Tx RC and a fellah on a RG stopped me and asked if I was on Road Glide Forums. He noticed my handle patch on my vest. He too was a forum member. It put a big grin on my face!
Brother, I don't know if you'll see this post, but if so forgive me that I can't recall your name/ handle.
By the way, I must add that on said 20 hrs notice, in 100+ degree heat and on a holiday, right at 100 riders made this PGR mission. Damn respectable, if I do say so myself.

I belong to another forum for classic Winnebago’s. They have business cards with logo & web page, etc.. Since I have converted mine Winnebago to a 4x4, I get lots of questions, so I hand out lots of cards. Maybe an additional thought?
Not trying to hijacking the thread, but if you’re leaving something on someone’s bike that might work well.
Cakeman
I just bought a couple of patches the other day, a transparent sticker in the same design would work for me,....hint.
