I found a couple leftover 2015 RGU CVOs yesterday and I'm curious what others have been seeing for prices around your areas. Thanks!!

Yeah Man O War has a red one for about that price. They didn't seem like they wanted to deal much on it compared to what I could have done last summer on the same bike so I bought a new RGU instead. Weird too cause they were willing to get right on a '16 RGU :surprise:

CVO is actually a good deal if you like what it has. My 2013 RGU i have upgraded the wheels, forks, engine, etc etc and i am pretty sure i have spent more then a CVO, of course at the time i couldn't and still can't afford a CVO but can do stuff as the years pass. I had an offer to trade my bike in for a new CVO glide for 36k, which would have been 40k out the door before i needed to change pipes and bars, no thanks, trade my bike in and take on another 20k plus in debt, hell no

The CVO's are nice but for the $15k to $18k I save buying a Special I can do a lot of custom stuff that I pick. Even with the prices down it just doesn't work for me.

A few weeks ago, rumor had it the dealer in Ocala, FL had a new one for $32k, which is right around invoice on a '15. I just checked their web page and didn't see any Road Glide CVOs listed now. In fact most of their inventory didn't quote prices at all. Back in Dec, a couple of friends of mine each bought a '15 Street Glide CVO in Palm Bay, FL for $35k + ttl.

What you probably were hearing about was the fact that the Ocala dealership had been sold and the old owners were clearing out as much of the inventory as they could. I was tempted to trade for the Blk/Silver Ultra but came to my senses because I love what I have, I did however pick up a couple of shirts, a pair of jeans, and some oil filters at a great price. It was like 40-50% off of most everything and the bikes were going for invoice prices. The funny thing was that me and a buddy had just gone for a lunch ride from Jacksonville and ended up in Ocala. Had no idea that they were having the blowout sale and just happened to pop in.

One '15 CVO was bought during Shark Week in Texas last year and 2 more '15 CVO's were bought on the way home from SW. Couple that with stories all the time of guys going in to get a poker chip and leave with a new bike it's amazing how often such a big purchase can be an impulse buy. :surprise:

Yup. Best impulse buy I've ever made!! After all was said and done and the dust and treats had settled I had around $35 in mine. Free programmer free store stuff and all.
