PSU's 2017 RGS

Placed the deposit on 06/16/17. Should be picking it up sometime next week from Hannum's Harley Davidson in Media, PA.

Took deliver on 06/20/17 and have been riding non-stop and ordering parts non-stop.

I also have a 48 with no rear suspension so this is a big change.

This is mainly a progress thread to keep track of everything I've done and everything I still need to do.

Congrats on the new ride! Check out Rubicon Cycles for black powder coated parts. They don't require exchange and their stuff is high quality.

PSU, newbie here from Pittsburgh. As far as your suspension you might want to look at the pro-action.com website. I have known the owner from way back in the day, we used to race motocross together. Good folks, top notch customer service. Had them on my 01 EGC, and going to put them on my new to me 06 FLTRI soon. i thought the progressive 440's were good on my Electra Glide, these were night and day difference. He swapped the Progressive's out, put the new ones on and we then proceeded for about a 40 minute test ride. Talked about the ride and feel, made a few minor adjustments and world of difference. Happy to say the least. Road Glides are his and some of his shop guys bikes of choice. Not affiliated in any way, just a very satisfied customer and nice to have someone close by. Shop is in Beaver Falls which is maybe less than an hour south of Pittsburgh! Just my 2 cents and feel it might be worthwhile to at least check them out. Also, you have one sweet ride, congrats!

+1 on the pro-action...long history of cycle shocks from way back, motocross, etc...I referred a HD forum person there a couple weeks ago that was in the middle of a trip and was having an air shock issue, they just happened to be next to beaver falls anyway and they rave about them....

good luck!!!
