Amen. The snowflakes are taking over. I'm young (relatively) but am an old fart at heart, and I can't stand all the participation trophies, coddling and extreme political correctness/CYA mentality of the youth of today.

Exactly right, dbell. It's a very foolish person who brings a bike to a car fight.

Just a nina? I usually carry the nina for my backup on the bike. Its usually a full size 40 with extra mags as the primary.

I'm just bustin your balls, but I seriously only go unarmed on the bike if I am going out of state. I do value my LTC, ya know.

Mike
Single stack 9 for comfort. I found myself never carrying my 40 because it was too uncomfortable on my bike. My little Ruger SR9C doesn't print and I forget it's ITW. It's a lot more powerful than my 40 if it's sitting at home LOL.

In Colorado, a gun exposed is consider a reason to fear for ones life and you can drop them on the spot. I carry at all times, but if it comes out, it is coming out to be used not to try and intimidate.
I would never pull a gun out if I wasn't going to be pulling the trigger. I don't know where you got that idea. That's a criminal act in all states. In VA it's legal to open carry but I still conceal. All I know is if someone tries to run me off the road that's attempted murder and it's him or me at that point. Too many assholes out there that want to be all tough because they feel safe in their cage. Just keeping the playing field level if someone tries to play chicken with me.

Saw a posting on Instagram the other day, some fucktard going on about driving to work and not caring for any motorcycles on the road, this Douch was someone who needs a blanket party STAT! And to boot, some of the coments along with it kinda said the same thing... What the fuck is wrong with people today. I know we are getting phased out with the beginning of self driving cars and shit, but, come on. Whatever happened to playing Counting the motorcycles on long road trips with the kids? We are a dying breed ladies and gentlemen. Thanks for putting the vid out, disturbing, very disturbing.

I have said it numerous times in my life..... I hope to hell that I never need my gun, but I would rather have it and never need it, than need it that one time and not have it.

A gun IMO is not a toy or something to use to intimidate or to flash so that people fear you. I wear clothes that intentionally prevent people from knowing if I am carring. It is twofold, the first is I dont want to take away a tactical advantage, and the second is I dont want to become a target if the shit hits the fan. I would never "flash" the gun. If you see it, that means things have degraded to the point that bad things have probably already happened.

They are not toys, they are deadly serious and should be treated as such. Its too bad that most people dont look at it that way.

I'm not Billy Bad Ass or anything like that. I am all of 5'6" and am usually a nice guy who can get along with almost anyone. There are people walking the face of this rock who are neither nice or have a care about other people. I have no desire to run into those types of people, however sometimes no matter how much you try to keep away from them, thre is the chance that you will find yourself in the wrong place at the wrong time. It is at those moments when I hope that cooler heads will prevail, or I will see the situation with clarity and remove myself from it. Having said all that, if it comes to the point where I have zero options left, I will hopefully be in a position to save my life. If not, I will be dead, at which point nothing will matter as far as I am concerned, so I will no longer care.

I continue to hope to die of natural causes at a fairly old age.
