Ok my turn. So last night I check my tranny fluid and it don’t even register on the stick, so I start to look in the primary and oil gushes out. Soooo today I go to my local dealer and I tell them I am having to oil transfer issue. He don’t know what I am talking about. So out comes the tech and tells me it’s impossible for This to happen! So I tell em to look up TA0022. Then tells me I guess it can happen then. So they are picking my bike up tomorrow and I guess drain and filler up with new oil. I’ll let y’all know how this works out. Not to sure about This clown changing my fluids?!!?!

At first i thought they were full of shit when they said "I never heard of this" or "It's impossible." Now I believe the techs never heard of this and that's complete bull shit on Harleys part. The moco should be reporting issues to the dealers. f-ing incredible.

Yep got the same run around. I for one will not buy another Harley until they get this fixed. Guess I.m stuck with this bike for awhile. I really wanted one of those 117" Road Glides. It's just not worth the risks. Have fun!

Red face Transfer HAS stopped

Maybe luck? Transfer has stopped...400mi. and no transfer what so ever since my 1k service... went with Lucas 20w50 synthetic in motor and primary. Bel Ray 80W in trans. Will continue to monitor. Have not changed anything on how i ride either. If anything I have jumped on it and stayed on it a lil harder. Time will tell.

I don't know if 400 miles if enough time to say it has stopped. Check in again when you're 2000 miles since you last checked.

Definitely the plan...I know at/around 500mi pulled primary cover and something like 4-5 oz. came out and same if not more at 957. So that's what I'm basing quote Stopped on.

Good video to watch that explains the "issue"

asked my local dealer has sold a bunch of M8's, they have not yet encountered one with the issue, they do check for it at every service also, I think this is being made out to be a much larger Issue than it really is

I have a friend with an Indian and he about ready to shove it up their ass with all the electrical issues it has and poor fit to finish.

Also, try finding an Indian dealer if your in trouble. Maybe you be lucky to be within 100 miles of one.
