Get the rust off

Called the ins co this afternoon and put the scoot back on the road.

Pulled the bike out of the garage all excited, no start. Forgot to connect the fuel when I put the tank back on.

5 minutes into my ride my hands were on fire, forgot I put heated grips on this winter, 3 is nice for riding.

1st major intersection, hit the kill switch by accident.

Other than it was an awesome quickie 20 mile ride!

Been a long winter!

Also remember that the cagers have to get used to bikes being back on the road.

I remember when I had a touring bike with mirrors mounted on the fairing. I went to adjust them and my arm went across the kill switch while there were cars around. Took a few seconds of panic to figure it out!

My new Himalayan will let me engage the starter while the sidestand is down, but won't flow fuel. That one got me a couple times already!

Happens to me even when it is only been a week between rides. In my case, I blame it on old age.

Why do you have to put it in neutral?

Wouldn't start with clutch pulled in. Bad leaver pack. (Since replaced)
