2011 road glide

Question. I changed my engine oil and oil filter in my 2011 road glide, gave it plenty of time to drain and put 4 quarts in it just like the owners manual and service manual said. I made a ride and the next day I was looking at my bike and noticed that oil had dripped out of air filter. I checked my oil (cold engine on jiffy stand) and it was reading about a quart too much. Is the owners manual and service manual wrong about the amount of oil for the engine?

A common problem that most of us have had I think. In my opinion you can never get all of the oil out. I would start with 3 quarts, then add the little bit of the 4th to top it off after the bike has been started once.

My 2011 oil change takes about 3.5 quarts . Any more than that it will weep out the air filter.

yup 3.5 is about it , fill it to no more than half way up the hash marks , each bike is different , if I go much over over half way up the hash marks mine blows out the filter , well it did till I re ran the hoses ..
