Why to buy the tire & wheel esp

Found I had a nail in my rear tire and screw in my front. Took it to the local HD dealer and they replaced both tires under my ESP tire & wheel package. Only had to pay a $50 deductible instead of $720 full cost, so glad I took that option

Nice!!!!! You know if that wheel and tire covers any brand tire you install or only the ones the Moco installs when new?

Don't think there is anything in the contract that says only Moco ones, however I wasn't given a choice on what tire they replaced with.

BTW I only had 7800 miles on my tires

If I had to pay that much to replace tires I would definitely have the protection plan and absolutely would be having a screw or nail in the tires when they were ready to be replaced.

Does that plan continue with these new tires?

Yes, it continues for the full 5 years of the plan, see receipt from HD below, a large chunk is labour! But of course no one will fit and balance tires for free.

My local country tire shop would swap tires for $5 a tire paid directly to the tire guy. Owner did it for free because we buy all our car/truck/trailer tires from him.

I bring in the wheels and the new tires. Sure, I have to pull the wheels and balance them, but that is part of the fun of owning motorcycles.

For a minor puncture I get them to put a patch on the inside of the tire for $10.

Unfortunately, the owner sold out to a city fellow who has an office manager that says too much liability messing with motorcycle tires.

Oh well, the last 5 motorcycles got traded / sold before needing tire replacements anyway.

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. (Ecclesiastes 12:13)

If you don't mind me asking, how much was the cost of the protection plan?

Last time I went to the dealer to have em possibly change my rear tire, cost of tire and install was right at if not just over 500 so sounds like most of the dealers charge the same which is good just sucks how much they charge to do tires.....

Does the plan cover the tires/rim anywhere nation wide or only at the dealer you purchased it from ?

Anywhere nationwide, they just pull up your VIN and it tells them straightaway what coverage you have. Its a $50 deductible whether you need to have one tire or two replaced. For the cost I thought it a well worthwhile upgrade to have
