Tour Pac Light Connection

I have a pre Mt Rushmore tour pac off an ultra. Used aluminum channel to raise it up because I had a retired police bike with hockey puck open style bag. In other words they open the same as Rushmore without the inside latch, hockey puck on top of bag..so I had to bring the height up to clear the bags, worked/s great!

My question is, my old bike had the plug for the running/ brake lights and they worked when I used it with the old bike, plug was under the seat. I even LEDed it up.

Now that I have the 17, I know the bags clear, but, I cannot seem to find the plug on the bike for the Tour Pac light connection. Not to mention, new bike looks wayyy different under the seat. Iím not noticing anything even remotely close to (plug wise) any connection.

Any thoughts on where and if I have a plug on the bike for that. Iím stumped. Oh, and, the 17 Iím referring to is a 2017 Road Glide Special that I already have the 4 point docking hardware installed for a backrest and rack. Any thoughts or suggestions where I can look for the plug? Thanks all for any advice or knowledge...!

Call Namz. They might have a pigtail for you. If not they have the parts for one that you can put together.

You don’t need Namz. Their shit is to much anyway. Harley has all you need. This is how I did mine.

1st harness. # 70264-94A. $19.95

2nd harness. # 70641-08. #13.96

Here is where you plug it into the bike. It on the left side under the seat.

Harness 1 plugs in line to the bike harness (the gray plug on top). Harness 2 into harness 1 and harness 2 to the TP. My TP plug is outside of the TP so how you go about that is up to you.

It’s pretty easy when you look at it. They only plug up one way.

Hey Ray

I just went through the same thing, installing the tour pack off my 2009 RG onto my 2019 RG. You need to buy a harness from HD P/N 69200772. It was $15.99 from Ronnie's on line HD parts. One end of this harness plugs into the light connector on the TP, the other end of the harness plugs into the harness under your seat. It's plug and play. I also installed LED lights on my tour pack brake lights since I'm running a Custom Dynamics magic strobe modulator which requires LED bulbs, otherwise the higher current draw of the non-LED bulbs will let the smoke out of the modulator.

I wasnít sure if this one would work or not. I had 70264-94A off my old bike so I just used it.

And probably cheaper to buy at the H-D shop so you donít pay shipping. Itís listed at $17.95.

Wow, Craig, thanks man, I did see that connection but would have never associated it with the Pac lights. Thanks for the pics and parts. I owe you man..!
