Sunscreen - stroke of genius!

I never like putting on sunscreen. Pain in the butt. I always feel like it’s on my hands then all over the grips. Idea struck me to cut a cotton cloth into little 4”ish pieces and use them to apply sunscreen. Left bunch in tourpac w sunscreen. Hands & grips stay clean.

My strokes of genius are never something to jump up & down about.

When applying sunscreen, ensure you check the mirror to ensure it is all rubbed in before you ride with friends. Otherwise, you may end up being called Zinc. Just saying.... from experience.

FWIW, they have roll on sunscreen that I keep in my saddlebag. Works well and leaves no traces to get you a new nickname.

That's not a bad idea. I hate sunscreen as well. If I do use it I use the spray on kind probably works about as well a water in a bottle but I'm trying

Well what do you know. I always washed my hands after applying so my gloves didn't soak it up.

Now-a-days I keep getting things cut off so I am pretty much covered head to toe when I am riding, which is why I don't ride in the heat of the day here in the south.

Not a bad idea... Sunscreen is a PITA but after having 4 spots of skin cancer off my purdy face, I am a regular user along with a modular helmet.

Use a ziplock bag turned inside out over your hand, apply, turn right side out and seal bag. Works great for Icy Hot.

Not trying to hi-Jack(all pun intended) the thread, but I've been meaning to ask this on here for 2 years or so! What do y'all use on your face? EVERYTHING I've tried puts off some weird vapor that makes my eyes water: not much use having sunscreen on if the tears blind ya from seeing the road! Seriously open to suggestions. Thanks!
And @08Zinc ......absolutely hilarous!!! Thanks for my much needed laugh of the day....oops...make that middle of the night! No wonder my wife looked at me so funny 30 minutes(?) ago when she woke up on the couch, got up, looked at me and headed off to bed! Hot breakfast for my honey in the morning. LOL

I just use the clear spray on kind. No white mess and hands aren't slick either.

Deodorant stick style. Full size and lip stick style. Small sprayer types too.

A few practices will help get the application correct. I also use the "performance" dry joy type of long sleeve shirts.
