I did a thing today.

Traded my ultra for a softtail. there are several reasons why I did this but the only one that mattered was that I am making some real estate investments and wanted to take advantage of the equity that I had with my ultra. I did not want to be without a bike so I made a deal for this and a nice fat check.

but, I will be back on a shark, soon.

I clicked to see what model you got, but didn't have to guess about the color.

Enjoy the new ride and hope the investments pay off. Was that real estate investment "to win in the 6th?"

it is an '06 night train with a carburated 88" TC, and a lot less weight than my ultra.

my plans include keeping the apes, taller sissy bar, king/queen seat, s&s tear drop air cleaner, upswept pipes and a kicker. going for an "old school" look. I may also consider a sportster tank, but I'm not real sure.

That is a nice looking bike.

Did they check out the cam chain tensioner? wasn't '06 the last year of the chincy ones? i can't remember. I know mine was ready to go on my '01 Fatboy when I traded it in. It was getting a little noisy down there, and was lucky I made it to 38,000 miles.

Gotta say, I had to go back and read your post. I originally thought you said you traded for the softail and a fat chick!
