stock pipes vs street cannons power, m8
Just curious if anyone else noticed this. I switch back and forth from stock pipes to the cannons. I have about 3400 miles on my 19 rg standard. lately it seems to be much stronger with the street cannons than before. With stock pipes I had better torque than the cannons up to 2800 rpms and the cannons were louder but not really any stronger. Lately when I switch back to the cannons it pulls much stronger than the stock slip ons all over the rpm range. Like the Ecu is learning the back pressure change. I have stock air cleaner and stock flash on ecm. Now with the cannons when I hit about 3100 rpms the bike just leaps up and gets busy. But it wasn't always that way.
Anyway, I love the power and feel, makes me miss my softail less. Now if I could just get that rear suspension dialed in.
