Phone charging

Hello!
New guy to his forum, but not a rookie by any means....
This have probably been a topic in the past, but here we go.
I was thinking about installing a 12 volt lighter plug inside the storage compartment in the fairing on my 2013 Road Glide. Any suggestions?

Jusr jump the wires off of your existing lighter/charging socket, drill a hole in your glovebox and you're good to go. Gotta pull the outer fairing to gain access. It did it to my '09

I put a USB power port in my left glove box, pulled the power from the cigarette lighter.
Then I put a power marine port in the dash to power the GPS. Pulled that power from the lighter too.

The hole in the glove box trick works well.

usb

I drilled holes and installed single port usb plugs on both sides that I piggybacked on the fairing mounted lighter plug. Made charging simple and easy
