Updating service record on the INFO screen

This is not audio, or GPS, or controls.... so I thought I would ask here.....

Can't seem to find any information in the owner's manual or the BOOM! manual to tell the owner (me) how to change the ''distance since service'' readout shown here.

[

Naturally I have had the 1600km and 8000km (1000m and 5000m) services done and stamped, and I am fussy about them being recorded everywhere.

Is this something that has to be done at the dealership?

ALSO..... again can find no info, maybe I am looking in the wrong place....but what do TP and E mean at the bottom of the screen?

Thanks for any help..

Thanks Craig. Another reason why I am buying a paper copy of the full workshop manual.

Neither my Owner's Manual nor my Boom! Audio Manual offer the detail posted up by the guys above.

Tell you what though....it's a struggle to get a full workshop service manual PAPER BOOK these days. Down here, H-D Australia has none in the stores and none in the warehouse, has to be special order from USA.

I'm in San Francisco at the end of next week for 5 days and even SF H-D has had to order one in from a dealership 3hrs away for me to collect. Like, a big metro dealer doesn't have a current model year workshop manual in stock..WTF?

Once upon a time you went to a parts dept and there was a bookshelf full of parts/workshop manuals shrinkwrapped and ready to sell. Is there no demand for them any more?

On my 2019 CVO you turn the bike on (don't start) then hold the mute button for 15-20 seconds and a sub menu appears allowing you to reset miles to service

Took me 6 months to piece together the steps I needed to reset the Service Counter. The part I kept missing was in step 1 - letting all electronics power up before turning the bike off. You should have no problem if you follow these steps below.

1. Turn Ignition switch to ON and wait for all electronics to come completely on.
2. Turn off the bike and wait 15 seconds.
3. Turn Ignition Switch to ACCESSORY.
4. Wait until the so called WARNING screen appears.
5. AS soon as the WARNING screen appears, press and hold the POWER/MUTE button until the “SERVICE MENU” appears (takes about 15 seconds)
6. Select “RESET”.
7. Select “MILEAGE RESET”.
8. Select “YES” – Confirm the mileage has been reset.

2017 Boom GT 6.5

Is there a similar function on the Boom GT 6.5 or is this only on the newer GTS radios? I've learned how to get into the service menu but I do not find any setting for service.

Much easier if you see someone do it.
