Question Harley-Davidson Connect

Some 2020 models have can have the Halery-Davidson Connect app. Seems a good thing. But not available for 2019 and earlier Harleys? Does anyone know that Harley is providing an upgrade for the older RGS?

I was wondering the same thing. I could find nothing that says you can upgrade if you have a 19 or newer model.

Not working for 2020s either. When I put in my VIN to sign up it doesn't work. I've seen a couple of other people that have the same problem.

I had that problem at first. When I took it in yesterday they told me there is a box that needs to be checked upon setup and it doesn’t always get done. They went back and checked the box and it works great.

My HD Connect isn't working either and nobody seems to know how to get it working. Where is the box that Service needs to check?

Call Rockstar H-D in Ft Myers,Fl and ask for Tina in service, she knows. I just had it done, sorry. But it sounded like it was a computer thing that had to be done by the tech.

Had issues with mine also. Called Harley and they said there was an issue with the flash on the TCU. Had to take it in and get the TCU reflashed. Did that and did ten setup and it works great.

Late last week, Harley rolled out an updated app. I spoke with support again on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week and told me to go thru the activation routine one more time. After I did, the app is now working like it is supposed to.
