So was rolling home from work yesterday on the interstate and the oil light came on. Fortunately I was only about one mile from the dealership here. Pulled into the service department and got them to take a look. It was showing high and low pressure failure. Bike has 9,991 miles on it. Anybody else had this happen.
What year bike? I know for a while it was not uncommon for the sending unit to go bad. Happened on my 2010. Not sure if it's an issue with the newer bokes.
On my 13 oil light started to flicker. Replaced sending unit, no luck. Looks like it is a bad pin in wiring. I have ridden a couple thousand miles with no problem. I just need to make some time to find it.
Yeah it concerns me. First Harley for me after 20 years of riding other manufacturers and didn’t make it to 10,000 miles before an issue came up. Call it bad luck on my part I guess. Oh well on the chopper I go for a couple of days.
