Different tour pak wiring harness on RGS compared to Ultra and CVO

Planning to purchase a tour pak for my 2019 RGS I went to the dealership to get a quote for the HD pak to compare with the Advanblack. When I asked the parts guy I mentioned I was interested in the HD version so I could get the lights. He tells me the wiring harness is completely different on the RGS than the Ultras and CVOs and will not work. Does anyone know if this is correct or a hack to get around it. I would like the lighting if available.
Thanks

If you plan on the King Pak and want all the lights then the standard Ultra harness will work, itís H-D part number 69200131. It provides all connections for tail light, bottom lights, antennaís, and 12V power. Namz part 2120-0820 allows you to plug into your existing rear light harness and adds a splitter for connecting the additional tour pak harness. Also allows for quick detach of the tour pak.

I added the king pak to my 16 special and 18 CVO. Have the same harness in both tied into the bikes with the NAMZ connector. I donít know anything about a 19 that would make it different. The harness in the tour pak doesnít really matter, and it ties into the run/brake/turn connector under the seat regardless. Even if the type of connector under the seat changed itís just a matter of having a jumper made up.

2018 CVO RG lava orange, 117 Stage 3, 14" F47 and a few chrome extras. Boom crap gone.
2016 RG Special Cosmic Blue, 120ST with Dragos 2:1 and TTS tuner, FBI drop seat kit and JNR air ride. Stock audio long gone.

Thanks for the info. I don't have the much confidence in our local parts guy.

I put a tour pak off a 2015 Ultra limited on my 2018 Road Glide for Sturgis this year. I used a harness from custom dynamics to hookup the lites. Run, brake and turn all worked correctly. I did not try to get the speakers to work. I did get a farka connector to use the antenna on the tour pak. Don't know if the special has different harness on it but I doubt it.
