I blew a tranny.

Lol, going down the highway 65ish, gave it some gas and totally slipped. Hmmmm, that was weird! Letís do again, then totally slipped and a load screeching. Got it to the dealer, where she sits for a diagnosis. Transmission oil seemed black after 2500 miles. Bikes got 6500 miles on her.
Iíll keep ya posted.

Hope it turns out to be something simple and you get it back fast.

Sounds more like the clutch pack. Let's hope that's all it is.

Sounds more like a clutch issue, gears jump and clash and grind when things go wrong. And please fix that thread title before google search makes the crew around here weirder than it already is.

That is frustrating with a new bike like that and hope everything works out for you!

Sorry to hear about your dilemma but like what has already been stated it sounds like a clutch issue.
Best of Luck and keep Us posted.

What you do in your spare time is your business, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Hope the bike's okay.

Hey. 20 bucks is 20 bucks. Put it towards the fix.

Like has been said. Sounds clutchy. Hope it's simple.

Nice title, that's hilarious! You don't happen to ride the clutch a lot do you? I'm interested in what the dealer finds on this. Could you tell if anything changed in the clutch while in use or taking off from a stop?
