Transmission oil transfer on 2019/2010 bikes?

Anyone had transmission oil transfer on 2019/2020 bikes with the vent kit fitted?

The reason I ask is Greg Williams of the fat clutch rod fame is posting in a FB thread saying his new clutch rod (latest design)stops transfer on bikes that have had the vent kit fitted. I said to him I hadn't heard of any bikes with the vent transferring but he was adamant he had proof!

Im guessing he's looking to make money but maybe that me being devious.....

the transfer has been greatly reduced. but no fix is 100%. I've seen a couple of reports of guys who had the vent kit installed and still had transfer. literally, a couple. 2 or 3 maybe. and in one of those cases, the service dept failed to remove the deflector from the end of the push rod. after it was removed, the transfer stopped.

I understand the concept of reality, but find it too confining for a way of life.

For me, I have a 2020 and have not had any issues. Again, for me I would wait to see if you have any issues and than go from there.

The deflector is only on the 2019 and up models, correct?

This was the case with my 19. Dealer didnít follow the procedure and failed to remove the deflector. Still transferred, made them remove it and all was well after.

Deflector came standard on the 19ís, could have been installed as an attempted ďfixĒ by dealers on 17-18ís.

Had a significant transfer condition right after I bought my ‘19 FLTRU (12oz in 500mi), but no issues in 3,000 miles since vent installation.

Greg claims he’s sold 10,000 fat rods so he must have convinced a lot of folks of his approach.

He has done good from his ''fix'' but thanks to the factory vent, that particular gravy train has hit the buffers now, I'd say.
