Glad to hear you got your glove box sorted. I agree, that is about as perfect a ride as they come. I think I have "Glide Envy"!

What did you do to your Road Glide Today?

This was a busy week for me and my scoot!

1) Installed my 10” Pullback Kliphangers

2) installed some lighted hand controls with CB PTT/Squelch button

3) Installed SiriusXM Module and CB Module with hidden J&M CB antenna

4) Installed my EZPass under the outer fairing

5) Put her away for the winter ((

Put together a new shift rod from pieces I found online. Total cost was $45 shipped. Aluminum swaged tube, aluminum rod ends and nuts, titanium bolts.

I got my butt in gear and finished up everything needed for a first start. Ran a couple of heat cycles on it, and so far only one issue. No leaks or worrisome noises.

I missed the adjustment on the oil pump by perhaps 1/2 a turn. Was aiming for 35 and got 28. So I'll have to bite my lip and go back in to change that.

A couple of things I noticed in the few minutes it was running. There is way less vibration at idle. This thing danced around like it was part paint shaker, even when new and un-molested. Now it's surprisingly smooth, just starts to dance a little bit once the fast idle has backed all the way out. And from what I can tell from the volt meter, the CEI charging system seems to be considerably better at idle than the oem parts.

I put one of those full diameter cross over pipes on it, mostly to see if it would even the exhaust flow out.

Still only puts cold start vapor out the left can.

Putting em away for the winter really does suck. Around here I usually can ride at least a day or two each month. But this year, I'll prolly have to wait till March or April. When the temps climb high enough to work on the auto tune.
