Picked up a new take off ultra shield for mine for 10 bucks off ebay. Will fit the bill until I can order a freedom shield later. Now if I can find a stupid price on a more comfortable seat for this 19 standard.

I haven't put them on yet because I picked them up on my way to work today but I ordered a set of the wire mesh speaker grilles for the rear "trunk" speakers on my RG Ultra. These are the same ones they put on the CVO bikes and will replace the factory "cloth faced" speaker covers for a much cleaner look IMO.

The yellow represents the + / - wires, the green is where I heat shrinkes the speaker wires and ran them outwards, the red I drilled a hole in speaker and 1/2” spacer and dropped into pod for connection.

That is what is keeping me from doing the lowers. Think I would be kicking them all the time.

It was mainly just my right foot when going for the rear brake. I ride on my highway pegs mainly so Id hit going from that to the brake.

What did you do to your Road Glide Today?

Got my tank emblems in and decided to paint them to be different. Was going to plasti-dip them solid black then hit them with the glossifier but after 2 or 3 stick coats I decided I liked the look so I did the glossifier and then painted the eyes red. Pretty happy with the look except for now I have to do something to make the A/C badge and timing cover match.

Damn! ...I'm generally not a fan of digital gauges, but those got me thinking.
