I've seen these threads on other forums, and they can go on forever. Just some place to post what you might have done in any particular day.

I'll start with this past weekend. I went out Sunday morning intending to ride down the road, any road. When the first 40mph gust of wind hit me, I changed my mind and headed over to Iron Pony instead. It being early Sunday, and the service dept was open, I decided to get the new tires I was needing. So, a few dollars later I ended up with two new Dunlop American Elites and new pads on the front brakes. They were out of the Metzler ME880's, but these are new model Dunlops, and it appears they only make two sizes so far, both just happen to fit my bike. Web site says more sizes coming in 2011. Only have about 300 miles on them, but so far they seem to be good tires. Holds the wind well :D (Sunday was VERY windy, almost got blown over getting off the bike)

Next up, Progressive 940's are on the way.

as of 4/18, New Hog tunes system, w/ 7" subs in the lowers, 5x7 in the dash, new TP speakers, 160W amp, intergrated the rear turn signals & changed blinkers and tail light to LED with the brake flasher kit, new Grateful Dead derby cover (thanks Dedhd for the heads up, http://www.roadglide.org/showthread.php?t=2246&highlight=GR8FLH+Build) oh yeah, some new reinhart performance baffles.
Between the exhaust and the stereo maybe the cagers will here me coming. :D :D

Now I just need to put some miles on it to break it all in!

I've been working my ass off lately. The only time I get to ride is to the post office, bank or hardware store. Sometimes I manage a short evening ride. I still have less that 1000 miles on my 11 RGC and it's totally stock except for the windshield. One thing I've noticed is the stock exhaust has gotten a bit louder after 500 miles. Still not loud enough though :D

I'm leaving Charleston tomorrow and heading for a 4 day whirlwind ride to and back the Natchez Trace so...

1. I changed out the filter on the Ventilator with one of the spares I have since this thing collects tons of oil always.
2. Tool the SE heavy fork oil out of the front end and replaced it with the Stock Type E - for more riding comfort. That SE oil was killing me.
3. Took the gas tank and other stuff apart to finally replace the top ABS line of my brake system with a longer, Black, line. I reverse bleed the system using a Syringe. Pushed fluid up from a caliper to the master cylinder. Works awesome! Took less than an hour.
4. Mounted the ugly handlebar mounted cup holder I used for Sturgis last year.

Should be around 2000 miles in 4 days. Wish me well!

Got her going on the lift today for a SE 103" Stage II, SE254e, V&H Pro Pipe H/O, SEST, and 18"/19" Contrast Chrome Agitator wheels, upgrade...So she can be Loved Long Time when I get back from this worthless desert in two weeks...

THREAD JACK: LP - I'm in Lugoff, SC; where/what is the "Natchez Trace?" Relatively new to SC, so always looking for nearby rides... Thanks!!!

Oh, (and edited to say) have a great ride! :)

It runs from Nashville TN to Natchez MS. Kinda like a centrally located Blue ridge parkway or something. I guess... never been there.

If you're in Lugoff you got to get up to Deals Gap. Thats the best riding although its not "around here". Around here we have countless backroads and farmland. It's ok I guess.

Desert? Are you a service member, contractor, or federal employee? I'm federal/DOD and travel out that way every now and then. Come home safe!!

Thank you and Rowdy for the well wishes BTW.

Sanded all yesterday, some purple non vented lower fairings given to me by a friend who didn't like them, glove boxes and all. Today primed and wet sanded them, then sprayed them black denim, Harley says they don't fit, Harley dosn't use imignation. Especially when the price is free, small notch in the top, and they fit like they were made for a 2010 shark!
