I was surprised and honored to receive the Roadglide.org flag when Hutmo unveiled it at Gettysburg. Indeed, Chris passed along the secret to me, and I look forward to passing it, as well as the flag, on to the next recipient.
I took the flag into the Shenandoah National Park and exposed it to Skyline Drive, a spectacular ride that seemed like a perfect first trip for the flag as many of the rally attendees traveled together through Maryland and Virginia. As a bonus it accompanied me to Delaware as I crossed that state off in my quest to hit all of the 48 Continental U.S. states. Upon leaving the 2011 Gettysburg Rally, it continued with me throughout the American south. At the moment I've got the flag with me in Pensacola, Florida, and I'm making arrangements with a special person that I've got targeted. I hope to take care of that within the next day or two.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank those responsible for creating this terrific concept, primarily Hutmo himself. I think it's a great way to bond Roadglide.org folks together, and I look forward to following the flag and its journeys as it moves throughout North America and maybe beyond!
What if the Hokey-Pokey really is what it's all about?
