Schuberth is probably the way to go, unless you're ok wearing ear plugs. Then, just go....

Quiet and flows air are inversely proportional.

Here in the south I need a helmet that flows a lot of air and the Bell Star has a noticeable flow of air. Of course, it is not quiet which is why i wear ear plugs.

What to look for in a quiet helmet.
  • No Vents
  • very good seal where the faceshield closes
  • aerodynamic shape
  • a large chin curtain
  • large neck roll
  • a lot of padding around the ear pocket

I haven't been there in a while but webbikeworld was a good source for helmet reviews. Revzilla is a good source for customer reviews.

I'm sure a large windshield with lowers and deflectors that reduce the amount of wind getting to the helmet will help as well, but is a miserable ride when it is warm out.

Which helmet is the top of the line for reducing wind noise?
My current set up on my bike is great I have almost no wind noise and I forgot to put my clear glasses on one night and rode at 60 mph and my eyes didn't even tear up. Freedom Shield sport 14" and CVO seat. I'm 6'1 and the wind goes right over me.Strange thing is I have a Harley Modular helmet and it actually creates noise around the visor and is noisier than my open ear half helmet.
