I've purchased two from them with no issues but with that said...the Roadies are quite popular these days

Sorry for your misfortune but frankly Iíve had nothing but great service from LRS along with quite a few of my friends.
We have found their product and customer service has been second to none.
Like I said sorry for your experience but you are definitely in the minority when dealing with LRS.

LRS Shield Distortion

I am not affiliated with LRS. I guess you don't realize that the distortion on a recurve is normal, no matter the brand. I have three different brands for my bike currently - LRS, Harley and Klockwerks... The LRS is equal to all and much better buy. The LRS company has a notice on their website regarding shipping and delays... Buyers need to read... I ordered another shield during the last sale and I am also waiting for manufacturing and delivery and I am ok with the delay. BECAUSE IT COST LESS THAN HALF OF OTHER BRANDS! Some people would not be happy no matter the brand/issue.

Coulda fooled me by the rest of your post

Not on my Freedom shield. Plenty of others on here will also attest to that.

The LRS is equal to all and much better buy. I'm sure you mean cheaper. Nowhere near the quality of a better shield. I will compare your LRS to my Freedom side by side any time. Bring it to Shark Week. We'll let the masses decide.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

I wasn't crazy about spending the extra money on the Freedom shield but I'll never go back to LRS, ever. I can afford a quality shield, or even a dozen of them if I choose. I don't settle for less quality just because the cost is less than 1/2. Just isn't worth it.

I also noticed others that had issues with them but you're only calling me out about it.....

I really like my LRS. Im sorry y'all are having trouble. Hopefully this is just glitch and LRS will get the shipping worked out. Im not sure about the distortion part of it. My shield reaches me around the bottom of my nose and anytime Ive had to duck behind or below that the visibility was fine. @Ohiobellboy sorry for your troubles. I know that is aggravating.

I ordered one during their Memorial Day sale and never got a acknowledgement so I emailed them yesterday and got a email back that they were swamped but credited the shipping back and my windshield was shipped today. This will be my 4th LRS. I have never had any major problems.

I've been using Clear View shields for several years now. they advertise their shields are optically correct and they are; no distortion looking through the curve. Thus the name, Clear View.

Maybe Iím wrong but in all the measurement instructions regardless of the manufacturer you are supposed to measure to see above the top of the windshield not through it.

I had no issues with quality of LRS or price nor delay. I can afford any price for any shield but I see no issues with LRS quality so I continue to buy them. I have paid almost three times what an LRS shield cost and the quality was no better than LRS. I have two recurves. Two different brands. If you have ample recurve, there will be some distortion. The reason you don't have distortion on the Freedom shield is because the design does not utilize that much recurve. Take a look at the Klock Werks sports flair for comparison. For the record, I was not calling anyone out. Simply responding. BTW - When fitted properly one is not supposed to be looking through a recurve shield. Most websites provide instructions on how to measure for proper size so that you are looking over the shield.
