yup carried a portable electric tire pump for years and finally got to use in in 2017 west of Nashville returning from the Patti's run , also carry CO2 as well ..

I have to have a hi viz vest at work and wifey found me a good one that is mil spec instead of the cheepos the company was handing out , I go in to work at night and I started wearing the vest riding in to work .. Now I always wear it at night when riding .. Years ago had reflective strips on the skid lids also , need to do that again ..

Oh, not really a safety thing, but learn how to use your over-ride code if you have the fob security system. It could save you a lot of headache.

I'm sure Belray meets or exceeds certification. I wouldn't worry about it.

Is your question about the oil, or not getting serviced at HD? If the oil is rated, Its good to go. Service wise, I did my own service using amsoil, a couple times on the road I had to use M1... still used my extend warranty for a couple issues.

use betray in my gearbox . they don't care if it's rated.

I've run bel-ray in every bike I've owned. Never an issue. My dealer is the one that suggested it along with several friends that have been riding for years more than myself.

For Safety: I try not to right at night. In a big city with lots of street lights is one thing. Where your going, NO street lights, and those 4 legged thing running around.
