Yo come back real quick.
For Germans a Stock Road Glide /w just GPS and ABS new is almost 40,000 Euros. It's insane. I bought mine for 20 but for the Germans its more then twice the price. They have a 19% VAT Tax and then another 25% for any HDs.
Gas is like 6-8$ a Gallon depending on where you are at. I just have a Standard 2018 Road Glide with the GPS upgrade and ABS and it goes for about 35-40K Euros. Its insane. I paid 20K US for mine. There is a good HOG Military/Local german group that actually does rides and a few other Patched groups that ride around here.
Welcome JT, did my service Ausburg, Erlangen and Hiedelburg...back in the day, 86-89.
Best 4years of my service other than Eglin AFB...Congrats on the new Sled, ride safe a drink a double Bock for me...Salute....Thanks for your service.
lived in Heidelberg 2008-2013, then moved to Ansbach until I retired in 2014. Bought my 2009 RG over there and had a blast riding around Germany. Although that 09 got the "fairing lift" when I rode it on the Autobahn....too scared to go over 80 mph with that bike.....My current '19 would fare much better I think due to the improved fairing. Riding in FL just doesn't compare to Germany. wife and I really miss it.
Welcome sir. I was born in Landstuhl, West Germany. We lived at Wildflicken, Schweinfert, Fulda, Wurzburg, Graffenveer, Meinz, Garmisch. Then after 20 years I moved back to the states. Lol. Maybe I will get back there again one day.
