Just to say something nice about Geico

Much to my surprise, Geico won for insurance hands-down with me.

I'd had them on Redwing (my 2004 Goldwing, Arrest-me Red), and they'd been in maintenance mode during the last three and a half years (when I couldn't ride). I had thoughts of $100 a month just for that, and more once I reactivated Redwing. Still, Progressive was pretty horrific, so I called Geico.

The young lady with whom I spoke was friendly and courteous, even congratulating me when she heard I was going that Saturday to pick up the new family member. She asked me some questions, got my discounts lined up, confirmed that I have absolutely no bad things (or anything) on my driver's record, and came back with a cost of around $45 a month (heck, I can live with that)--total, not per bike.

I also have to call 'em back. My RG has a couple of theft-deterrent installs (thought it had none--lowjack doesn't do motorcycles any more and the dealer wouldn't hook me up with the HD security measure) as well as having ABS (me and the salesman both missed that one), so that rate may come down some more.

(Only thing on my Geico record was when I'd motorcycled me and my son to his school for Parent-Teacher Conferences, and he made me forget the key in the ignition. Came out to a dead bike. Roadside assistance consisted of being 'towed' home, followed by the jump start I actually needed. Geico didn't even care.)

Always looking for a better deal, but I think I found a decent one here. Certainly my wife pays for for her Honda Odyssey...

Use to have Geico up till a few months back. All-State dusted their quote, especially on the motorcycles.

2010 FLTRX , Stage 1, 13" Madstad, Mono tubes, SuperShox, Heritage style bars. Alpine CDE-HD149BT,Soundstream Picasso Nano Series PN4.520 , 5X7 and 6.5 Infinity Kappa speakers
If I have to explain ,you wouldn't under stand anyway.
