2015 v&h power dual w/ twin slash mufflers.

Lady's & gents I have an 15 roadglide special. I found a 600 mile take off V&h power dual w/ V&h 4" twin slash tip muffler set for 600. Not horrible although when I went to pick these items up the gentleman off of CL mentioned he had a SE stage one air filter kit with 200 miles he would give me as well. So long story short I installed the mufflers w/o tuning because we all know if the catalyst is in place the most we can do is make excess combustion dust. Now its winter w/9" of snow so I decided to get an sert tuner & cable & install the rest of the parts. I am looking for the best basic tune to protect my investment to tune in before I find a dyno shop I am comfortable w/ to dyno my scooter.

Get an FP3 tuner and be done with it.

You can also run a power vision, which also has an auto tune section as well as canned map, a lot of guys run them me included, talk to fuel moto they are great with advice and can send you one pre-loaded for your bike, easy one two three IMO.

If you haven't already bought the SERT, I would recommend the FP3 if you are only doing Stage 1 exhaust, mufflers & air filter or even considering cams. The latest upgrades for the FP3 now include cam changes. You already have all V&H exhaust components so finding a V&H map for your upgrades are a piece of cake with the FP3. The FP3 is easy to install and to flash a map into your ECM through your cellphone. If you check out V&H's website about the FP3 you'll be amazed at what can be done with it. Check out the advertisers websites on this forum for deals as well as other parts suppliers. The FP3 is less expensive than most other controllers if your a savvy shopper. Now the BIG IF is, if your ultimate plans for the bike is more than just Stage 1, i.e. head work or displacement increases then PV, PCV or TTS would be a better choice.

I would not go with a piggy back system over a real tuner like PowerVision that also comes with limited but basic autotune funtionality for not much more moey. But from Fuel Moto and they will support fuel maps for the life of the tuner. Unmarry and marry to a new bike or even get licenses to tune your buddy's bikes.
