What has it cost you to tune your glide?

I'm looking to get an idea from all here who have paid to have your bike tuned by a dyno tuner. Just the dyno tuning not any other work. Finding some guys are crazy in their prices.

The guys in CT average from $225-400. Depending on a number of factors. Most are around $275.

I installed a power commander 5 that I bought used on this forum. It works great, but I am still considering getting my bike dyno tuned to get every last inch of power out of it that I can.

Going to need one myself very soon. This place is near Baltimore and according to their website they charge $200 for dyno tune, and $50 for a dyno run. http://www.shackattack.com/

I too bought my pcv from a member here and just had my bike dyno'd and from what I can see and feel I did pretty well. The tuner was referred by Jamie at fuel moto. The tuner did charge me $350.00 cash to do the tune. As far as I see all tuners are collecting the same way. I spoke to another tuner because I was a bit concerned that the tuner informed me that he does not do pulls all the way to 6th gear only to 5th so the dyno tuner I spoke to was referred by HD stealership and he wanted over $450.00 cash to do it and $875 if you bought the hd super tuner from him and 2 days to hold the bike if not 3. He also trashed all the other tuning devices out there and only liked the super tuner. He came up with a different way of tuning which sounded like a short cut and doesn't tune to every rpm just a couple of gears and that's it. Just leaves me with some doubt as to what they charge and what one gets for it.

For what its worth Ironrider I was told to stay away from the SERT because it was old technology and the super tuner was the better way to go. For what its worth. I can see the price difference though.

It's important to know what you are getting for the price. A cheap price on a tune may just mean that they are not spending a lot of time on it.
