Scorpio SR-i900

Anyone have any reviews they'd like to share about this alarm? The only thing that gives me pause is the size of the pager/Fob. Not a fan of carrying things in my pockets or on my belt. I'd rather have the Harley fob, small and flat but I don't want to spend the coin on a basic system. I'm really wanting the additional proximity sensor to protect my accessories. Any feedback on this system would be appreciated. Thanks.

Is this in the right area of the forum? Surely somebody has this alarm on their bike and would like to share.

Since that company started ive had their alarms on all my bikes, right now i have the SR-i1100 on my 15 RG, i get text mesg on my cell if you come to close to my bike without touching it & i love how i can set up a zone where if you leave that zone or arrive back you get messages (i go to daytona and other states and change the zone to my hotel ), now of course this all comes with a subscription that i pay yearly but i have a piece of mind & Harley alarm doesnt give me that, thats why i told them make sure my bike didnt come with their alarm ( its an option )

Thanks for the reply Moe. Yeah that's why I choose to leave that option off from Harley and I'm honestly not all that concerned with theft of the bike itself it's all the misc things in the glove boxes, tour pak, phone on the handle bars when I go into a gas station or a motel parking lot that I started to worry about and the perimeter sensor is the reason I'm wanting to go with the Scorpio. Two questions I have are how big and durable is that little pager which I'm not a real fan of. I'd rather have something smaller that would simply arm and disarm. Second, does the system arm itself when you walk away with the pager or do you have to arm it every time? Thanks.
Sorry I guess the auto arm question was cleared up after reading the Scorpio description for the 5th time. Okay, maybe I'm a little slow.

Well i have to let you know i dont have that remote your talking about that comes with the SR-i900, i have the SR-i1100 that i believe they dont sell any longer, the only thing i carry is the key fob which will allow me to start her up as long as im a close distance to her, everything else i control thru a lap top or my cell BUT with that being said, i have installed scorpio alarms for years on a hell of alot of bikes and the only issue you will have is remembering to keep her fully charged BUT i have had one or two people who lost them and they just had to order new ones and re-sync em to the bike but they are durable

Dont talk about it, Be about it !!!

they do have the RIDE FOR HARLEY system thats a add on not sure if you need the basic harley alarm on the bike or not

Also if you look at the SR-i800 thats the key fob i carry with me for my baby, sounds like that what you want so that you dont have the remote with the screen that you have to keep charging also just make sure you can sign up for the ride services with the SR-i800

Good luck
